Synopsis

Henry Broadway, a young man in search of purpose, reunites with his estranged father Isaac moments before his wrongful hanging. Isaac tasks him with his last wish, to take revenge on the sheriff who framed him, Saul Butler. Determined to complete his father’s dying request, Henry arrives in the Montana town of Trinity—only to find Butler already dead and replaced by Sheriff Gabriel Dove who, with his wife Sarah, has taken over Butler’s house. With Butler’s grave still fresh, a mob led by Gideon seeks vengeance against Running Cub, a Native American girl blamed for Butler’s death. Debating his next move, Henry goes to the town bar where an argument ends in him killing a member of the ruthless Benton brothers gang. While on the run from the violent clan, Henry crosses paths with St. Christopher, a cunning former slave pursuing vengeance—and a stash of Isaac’s missing gold he believes Henry can lead him to.

Weekend predictions: How to Train Your Dragon heading to roaring opening

June 13th, 2025

How to Train Your Dragon

How to Train Your Dragon looks like a good bet to post the third-best weekend of the year after a strong set of previews on Wednesday and Thursday. Whether it can hit $100 million on debut, like Lilo & Stitch and A Minecraft Movie, will depend heavily on how it performs through the tail-end of the weekend. More...
