Synopsis

An elderly, lonely man takes a rebellious teenager under his wing. He tells him the moving story of the Polish priest Maximilian Kolbe, who sacrificed his life in exchange for that of another prisoner at the Auschwitz concentration camp. The young man discovers the profound meaning of sacrifice and love.
