Synopsis
One year after finding vengeance for his murdered brother, MMA champion Kurt Sloane finds himself back in Thailand—kidnapped and imprisoned there by a powerful gangster. His only shot at freedom is to win an underground death match against a 400lb killer enhanced with state-of the-art drugs. To make it out alive, he seeks training unlike anything he’s ever endured, with the help of the legendary Master Durand and fellow prisoner Briggs.

It’s Oscar week on the home market with several Oscar nominees and winners. Many of these films, like Call Me by Your Name and I, Tonya, are contenders for Pick of the Week. The actual winner of this title is The Shape of Water on Blu-ray Combo Pack or 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack. It’s not the biggest release on this week’s list, as that honor goes to Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but that’s only coming out on Video on Demand.

Padmavati is the biggest release of the week and unlike most Indian films, it is earning a lot of buzz. It could be a crossover hit. There are also a couple of films earning 100% positive reviews: the Chinese Indie animated film, Have a Nice Day, as well as Kickboxer: Retaliation. I don’t think the latter’s reviews will remain 100% positive for too much longer.
