Synopsis
When first-time landlord Maurice finds himself financially devastated after being legally barred from collecting rent during the respiratory pandemic “VID-19” quarantine, he and his childhood friends, Cody and Sincere take matters into their own hands. Together, they create “Evicted” — a secretive dark web app offering unconventional eviction services to desperate landlords. This dark comedy explores the unexpected consequences of pandemic housing policies while delivering laughs through its increasingly wild eviction schemes and the cat-and-mouse game between tenants and the amateur eviction crew.
