Now You See Me: Now You Don’t

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t goes into the weekend as a very marginal favorite to take the box office crown, but we’re essentially looking at a three-way tie in the predictions as of now. Predator: Badlands could beat back both newcomers, while The Running Man isn’t entirely out of the running.

Here’s a quick rundown of our model’s predictions for all the new releases:

Here’s what the model thinks the top 10 will look like.

Note that the model has the re-release of Wicked coming in fourth this weekend. These re-releases are very hard to predict, but it’s another film that’s worth looking out for on the chart.

Overall, we really have a statistical tie this weekend, with any of the top 3 above in with a good shot of winning. Now You See Me: Now You Don’t would be my personal bet, given the decline in interest in The Running Man over the past few weeks.

Just one quick note before I go… we’re aware of the performance issues on the site today and are working to fix them. Once more, we’re being bombarded with a combination of AI crawlers, AI live search, search engine crawlers, and real human beings like yourself. My apologies for any slow page loads and errors. I hope we’ll reach a more stable state soon.
