Award Season - Little Leads the Way

The PGA handed out their awards over the weekend with two going out to theatrical releases.

The Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures

The Producers Guild of America Producer of the Year Award in Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures

Note and Reactions:

Little Miss Sunshine is a surprise. Not that the film was worse than its competitors, but as I said earlier, comedies generally don't earn the respect that dramas do.
Cars win was much less surprising and even if the reviews are weaker than past Pixar projects, they are still the top of the class when it comes to digital animation.
