Synopsis

Tian prefers playing on his Switch to studying for school. That’s why his strict father sends him and his younger sister to the countryside to live with his grandmother, not realizing that the majestic mountains of Sichuan have an even greater distraction in store for the boy. On his forays through the dense bamboo forests, Tian discovers a baby panda that was abandoned by its mother. The two become friends and experience a carefree and adventurous summer until Tian’s parents visit and discover Tian’s secret.
